Breaking new ground, the Michelin Guide has unveiled its first-ever rankings of starry restaurants in Mexico, a significant milestone for the country's gastronomic landscape.
As per the MICHELIN Guide Mexico 2024, Mexico has 2 two-star restaurants and 16 one-star spots. These eateries are in renowned Mexican locations - Mexico City, Baja California Sur, Baja California, Quintana Roo, Nuevo Leon, and Oaxaca. They may have missed the opportunity to seize Michelin’s highest 3-star honor, but securing two-star and one-star categories is a big deal. It is expected to highlight the region’s food culture more.
