Da Pasquale Restaurant
Located in the heart of the Beverly Hills at Santa Monica Boulevard, Da Pasquale is a family-owned restaurant that provides authentic taste and a great menu.
This is not a spacious place. It’s more reminiscent of a small Italian eatery which does give it a more intimate atmosphere. If you’re going with someone make sure to make a reservation beforehand – space is at a premium here and the bar is too uncomfortable of a place to eat, even for a couple.
But don’t worry about the cramped proportions because this restaurant offers something rare in Los Angeles – authentic Italian cuisine. The lasagna, cannoli, and pasta are made to perfection. And don’t forget the pizza! This eatery serves great pizzas made from fresh and warm ingredients. The prosciutto pizza in particular stands out and is probably one of the best in the country.
If you’re willing to compromise on seating, Da Pasquale serves some of the best authentic Italian cuisines in all of Los Angeles.

Il Pastaio
Just walking distance from the famous Rodeo Drive, Il Pastaio is a busy little restaurant that serves great Italian cuisine.
The restaurant features indoor and outdoor (heated) seating, and the owner has made use of each square foot as the seating can feel a little tight. To some people however, this adds to the charm of the place as it’s quite a busy restaurant with staff working at full energy, making the whole experience an event. If you want a quiet and romantic dinner, this probably isn’t the place to go to.
There are three food items on the menu that you absolutely have to try if you come here: the Risotto Nero, the Linguine con Crostacei and the Pappardelle. The Risotto Nero in particular is rich, full of flavor and undoubtedly a delight for squid ink lovers.

Il Cielo
The Il Cielo is one of the most romantic dining options in Los Angeles, making it one of the top Italian restaurants to visit with your loved one.
This amazing spot in Beverly Hills has an outdoor patio covered in a sea of twinkling LEDs giving it a cozy, romantic ambiance. There’s even a “romantic package” which includes a rose petal covered table top with a candle. The indoor seating is fairly standard and roomy unlike the previous two restaurants in this list.
The menu is quite extensive and expensive but that’s fine considering this is an upscale Italian restaurant. Fortunately, the food justifies the premium pricing – even the Caesar salad tastes wonderful. Everything from pasta to fish and meat is cooked to perfection here. The salmon fregola with tomatoes and spinach is highly recommended.
